Overview
Lake Ngosi is the second largest crater lake in Africa. The lake has an african map shape which make it special to those who visit. It is found within the Poroto forests at an altitude of 226m above sea level. Its 2.5km wide and 1.6km long with a depth of 70m.
The Poroto forests is a home to massive ecosystem including three horned chameleon, black and white colobus monkeys, wild banana dna bambooo trees. It is also a home to several birds species.

This is a day trip. Trekking lake Ngosi does not require camping. However, camping may be available if you wish to stay at the lake overnight.
Most visitors are always satisfied viewing the lake from the viewpoint. However, our guide will be available to trek down with you if you wish to touch the lake's water.
